Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima, says Ronaldo (born 22 September 1976 in Bento Ribeiro, Rio Janeiro district) is a Brazil international football player who played as a center forward to.

He began his professional career in Brazil, Cruzeiro before leaving for Europe and then PSV Eindhoven. He still two seasons before signing for FC Barcelona to stay for one season. Ronaldo is then recruited by Inter Milan in a record transfer. There are five seasons in Serie A. After the 2002 World Cup, he joined the "Galacticos" Real Madrid for 42 million euros. After five seasons with the Madrid club he joined AC Milan. In 2009 he returned to his native country and transferred to Corinthians, the club in which he plays his last matches. He announced his retirement 14 February 2011.

Nicknamed It Fenomeno in Italy and Brazil Ronaldinho, Ronaldo has won many titles with the Brazilian national team. He has twice won the FIFA World Cup in 1994 and 2002 and failed once in the final in 1998. Leading scorer during the 2002 World Cup with eight goals, he is the best player of the final during which he registered a double. Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima was born September 22, 1976 in Bento Ribeiro, a remote poor but peaceful suburb about thirty kilometers from the center of Rio de Janeiro1.
